Journeys Within Tour Company (JWTC)
From JWOC’s inception in 2005, Journeys Within Tour Company and JWOC have maintained a very close relationship. JWTC and JWOC’s founders Andrea and Brandon Ross worked and lived in Cambodia for many years, bringing guests to Siem Reap to not only show them the wonders of Angkor Wat, but also to make them aware of the social and economic issues that JWOC has been tackling in our community. To this day our special relationship continues, as JWOC and JWTC work together to raise awareness and understanding of JWOC’s work.
JWOC and Collette Cares have worked together since 2008 to bring about positive social change within Siem Reap and the surrounding province. Their generous giving and enthusiasm for JWOC’s programs has allowed us to expand and deepen our connections with the local community, providing strength and depth to initiatives such as our Home Gardens project and the development of JWOC’s Community Center.
Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization that improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Soroptimist International Truckee Donner (SITD) supports two of JWOC’s female scholarship students.
The South East Asia Foundation has supported JWOC for many years, supporting our Digital Literacy classes, as well as a sustainable fundraising initiative during our Race4Youth. We are excited to continue partnering with SEAF.
The GoPhilanthopic Foundation has supported JWOC in a variety of ways, including identifying potential sponsors for our Scholarship Program, as well as providing Rapid Response Funding to support the food security of our students during COVID19.
The Mlberry Boutique Hotel is one of JWOC’s local partners here in Siem Reap. After being the t-shirt sponsor of our Race4Youth in 2019, they decided to provide JWOC with regular monthly donations to support the training we provide to youth at our Learning Center.
Professionals Doing Good connects professional volunteers with meaningful projects in Cambodia. PDG has supported JWOC by connecting trained individuals that have volunteered in JWOC Communications, Design and Data Collections, which have been integral to the work JWOC does in the community.
JWOC and the SHARE Institute have worked closely since 2005 to help local youth within our community. They now support the digital literacy classes in our Better Futures Program, facilitating learning opportunities to empower youth to take control of their future.
